Ingredients
- 1 medium avocado, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 2 c milk
- 1/2 c purpled onion, minced
- 1/2 c chopped green chiles
- 1/4 c sour cream
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 dash(es) ground red pepper
- crushed tortilla chips, for garnish
Directions
- Place avocado in the container of an electric blender or food processor, and process until smooth.
- Combine pureed avocado, milk, and the next 7 ingredients; stir well.
- Cover and chill thoroughly. Ladle into individual soup bowls. Garnish, if desired.
