Healthy Honey Granola with Yogurt


It's sure to be a good morning when you start off with this great-tasting granola and yogurt dish. it's prepared from scratch so you modify it to your tastes. One bite and it's sure to be a cereal killer.

Ingredients
1/2 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats
1/4 cup sliced almonds
2 tbsp. toasted wheat germ
1 tbsp. orange juice
1 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1-1/2 cups whole strawberries
4 containers (6 oz. each) plain nonfat yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla

Methods/steps
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly spray 8-in. square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
Combine oats, almonds and wheat germ in small bowl. Combine orange juice, honey and cinnamon in another small bowl. Add juice mixture to oat mixture; mix well. Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toasted, stirring twice during baking. Remove from oven. Transfer mixture to sheet of foil to cool completely.
Cut 3 strawberries in half for garnish. Slice remaining strawberries. Combine yogurt and vanilla in medium bowl. Layer sliced strawberries, yogurt mixture and granola in 6 dessert dishes or martini glasses. Garnish with strawberry halves.
