Banana Split Quick Oatmeal


INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) water
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) instant or old-fashioned oats
  • 1 tbsp (15mL) brown sugar
  • 1/4 banana, sliced
  • 1 strawberry, chopped
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) dry roasted peanuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Microwave water in 2-cup (500 mL) Silicone Prep Bowl on HIGH for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, add dry oats, brown sugar, banana, and strawberry to Make & Take Snack Jar; stir to mix.
  3. Carefully pour in water; stir until blended
  4. Place lid loosely on Jar; let stand 3 minutes.
  5. Stir before serving; top with peanuts.

Yield:

Cook's Tips:
Water can be heated using coffee mug or small bowl.
