You don't need to head down to the bayou to let the good times roll. This jumpin' Jambalaya promises to warm the heart, the soul and the belly. It's a Cajun favorite that's downright delicious. Ingredients
1 8 oz. can diced tomatoes with juice
1 box Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix
1/2 smoked sausage, cut into slices
1/2 lb. steamed or raw shrimp, deveined and peeled
2 cups of water
Methods/steps
Bring tomatoes to a boil add in Jambalaya Mix, and water continue to boil over med heat for 15 minutes, and then add shrimp and sausage. Stir cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes until rice is tender and fluffy.
